Q. What is meant by an image or imaging/flashing an Audrey?
A.
This is such a popular question, we have created it's very own page ... click here to visit the imaging faq.

Q. Why should I buy an Audrey from this site?
A.  Each unit is tested and retested.  Each unit is flashed to contain the software you want. We are proud to offer such an incredible piece of technology for such a incredible price.

Q. Isn't the Audrey discontinued?  What about parts?
A. If you are looking for something new that has manufacturer support, you need to look somewhere other than consumer electronics.  Even that latest and greatest piece of gear is likely to be yesterdays news without support  in a year or two.  With so much "underground" support of the Audrey it is likely you will be able to pick up a replacement unit for some time to come.  By then, the next best thing will be out anyway!!

Q.  I can buy these at an Auction site for less, why should I buy from here?
A.
Ask the following:  Does the seller understand what he/she is selling and can they fully test the unit before shipping it out.  Does that seller stock replacement parts if the unit has a problem and something needs to be fixed?  Does the seller include an Ethernet Adaptor?  Is the seller willing to flash the unit with your choice of software?  What is the real bottom line total cost (including shipping). I am not making a killing on these items.  I am making enough to cover my costs and perpetuate my hobby.

Q. Can't I flash these units myself and modify usb - ethernet adaptors at a savings?
A.
Absolutely.  If you have the time, the technical expertise, the appropriate equipment, and are willing to read alot of FAQs and experiment, yes you can.  I would encourage one to go that route as it tends to be a rewarding (and flustrating) experience.  I am offering an out of the box solution for those that do not want to deal with the hassle or do not wish to purchase the required equipment.  I would definately read some of the forums on the links section to get a feel for the complexities involved.
